Develop a More Powerful Downswing

Power and distance in the golf swing comes from many sources, but primarily from how you use your lower body. Not only is it crucial to have a stable lower body so that the upper body can coil against it, but how you use the lower body to start the downswing is THE most important factor.   Not only does the lower body initiate the weight shift, but also leads the rotation of the body and generating speed - which leads to distance.  

A GREAT aid to help you learn the correct sequencing of the lower body, is using the SLANT BOARD to help you initiate the downswing with the lower body, which will generate more power, distance, and consistency in your swing.
