How Your Body Affects Your Golf Swing Faults

IF YOU BROKE YOUR LEFT LEG AND YOUR LEFT LEG STRAIGHTENED TOO EARLY IN THE DOWNSWING, WOULD I MAKE SENSE TO KEEP WORKING ON SWING MECHANICS TO CURE YOUR "FAULT"?

Day after Day, Year after Year, I work with and see golfers work only on their Swing Faults; and not the tightness in different areas of their body that are causing them. By now, most golfers  have seen their swings on Video and know what their ‘Fault’ is; but don’t know HOW to fix it?

For example, if a person has an extremely tight and ‘droopy’ Right Shoulder, their fault is often times a coming out over the top with their trailing shoulder.  Then, they try all sorts of remedies for this ‘Fault’.

However, It’s been my practice to:

A).  Explain to the golfer how the muscle imbalances  in the shoulder is the SOURCE of the problem, and then

B). Put them on a Flexibility program that not only addresses the shoulder tightness, but also helps balance the entire body; and then watch the ‘FAULT’ disappear.

This is why I created the FLEXIBLE SOLUTIONS TO INFLEXIBLE SWING FAULTS Video, which addresses 8 of Golf’s most common Swing Faults and gives the Flexible Solutions to each one.
